Here are some starting themes. Each section below groups a few passages you can explore around that topic.
Peace in Anxiety
When your heart feels unsettled or worried, these passages point back to God's peace and presence.
- Philippians 4:6–7 – Be careful for nothing; pray with thanksgiving and God’s peace will guard your heart and mind.
- John 14:27 – Jesus gives a peace not as the world gives.
- Psalm 55:22 – Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you.
God’s Guidance
For decisions, next steps, or direction when the way ahead looks unclear.
- Proverbs 3:5–6 – Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; He shall direct thy paths.
- Psalm 32:8 – The LORD will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go.
- James 1:5 – If any of you lack wisdom, ask of God, who gives generously.
Strength in Weakness
When you feel at the end of your strength, these verses remind you of His.
- Isaiah 40:29–31 – He gives power to the faint; they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength.
- 2 Corinthians 12:9–10 – His strength is made perfect in weakness.
- Psalm 46:1 – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Hope in Suffering
Suffering is real, but it is not the end of the story.
- Romans 8:18 – The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory to come.
- Romans 8:28 – All things work together for good to them that love God.
- 1 Peter 5:10 – After you have suffered a while, the God of all grace will strengthen and settle you.
Forgiveness
For when you need to forgive, or need to be reminded that you are forgiven in Christ.
- Ephesians 4:32 – Be kind, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
- Matthew 6:14–15 – Jesus’ words on forgiving others.
- Psalm 103:10–12 – He removes our transgressions as far as the east is from the west.
Strength for Trials
Scriptures for seasons of testing, pressure, or long-term trials.
- 2 Corinthians 12:9–10 – His grace is sufficient for you.
- Psalm 46:1–2 – God is our refuge and strength, therefore we will not fear.
- Joshua 1:9 – Be strong and of a good courage; the LORD is with you wherever you go.
Healing
For physical, emotional, or spiritual wounds.
- Psalm 147:3 – He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds.
- Isaiah 53:5 – By His stripes we are healed.
- Jeremiah 17:14 – Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed.
Prayer
Verses that encourage you to call on the LORD and keep praying.
- Jeremiah 33:3 – Call unto Me, and I will answer thee.

Wisdom

- 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 – Rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, in every thing give thanks.
- Psalm 100:4 – Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise.
